THE CHRISTIAN MINISTRY ALLIANCE ADDS EXPERIENCED technology and business leader TO THEIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Gwen Clavon adds 30 years of technology and business operations expertise to the Alliance’s continued growth plans.
PHOENIX | August 8, 2022. The Christian Ministry Alliance announced today the appointment of Gwen Clavon to the board of directors.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gwen to our Board of Directors. Her extensive experience in business operations and nonprofit leadership is a needed asset as we continue to stabilize our current growth”, stated Doug Leslie, the Alliance President & CEO.
“Finding board members that share an organizational and cultural ethos makes her addition even more meaningful.” continued Mr. Leslie. “Gwen’s history of broad community nonprofit leadership experience, coupled with her tenacity to see organizations effectively and efficiently operate, make her and much desired addition. We are lucky to be able to have some under this much demand, join our leadership team.”
Ms. Clavon currently serves as Vice President & Deputy General Manager at Jacobs Technology, Inc. leading product development and strategic partnerships and has more than 30 years of experience in the government and commercial industry. In addition to serving with the Alliance, Gwen serves as the Board Chair at Purpose Parenting, a non-profit organization devoted to equipping parents with tools and knowledge to increase their parenting skills and supports children in reaching their full potential. Additionally, serves as the Leesburg Food Branch Director for Tree of Life Ministries; she is a STEM mentor working to increase the presence of minorities and women in the technology Industry.
Ms. Clavon holds two graduate degrees, a Master’s of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s of Business Administration, both from the University of Maryland.
